ViRUSafe Super Absorbent Granules safely turn body fluids to a semi solid gel within 2 minutes. This allows the gel to be easily and safely removed using a disposable scoop and scraper, and placed in to a yellow clinical waste bag. (scoops and scrapers available Here) ViRUSafe Absorbent Granules are pleasantly fragranced to help control offensive odors.

Micro-organisms found in body fluids are covered under the Control Of Substances Hazardous To Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002, (Biological Agents). Therefore a risk assessment should be made to control the risk of infection and safety of staff and clients. Contact ViRUSafe for more details.

Product Features

Available with impregnated chlorine NaDCC for use in hospitals and care homes or where there is a high infection risk. NaDCC chlorine is the recommended method for cleaning and disinfecting body spillages by the NHS at this time. Ideal for prisons, police cells and local government high risk clean ups.

*NB NaDCC chlorine granules are not suitable for use on some surfaces, i.e carpets and soft furnishings. Also unsuitable for the clean up of urine as harmfull vapors may be produced.

NaDCC chlorine requires risk assessment under COSHH regulations 2002 as a substance hazardous to health.

Non chlorine NaDCC granules may be used on carpets and soft furnishings. They are also suitable for the safe clean up of urine, making them ideal for schools, nurseries, hotels, holiday complexes, and all public transport settings.
